I have to say that Z-Risen series is one of my favorites in this genre. I understand people bitching about spelling and punctuation but I don't have a problem with such a minor thing, and it is very minor. I love following our two main characters from the beginning up to this point where they finally have hope of the world getting a little better for them. I highly recommend the book as well all the previous books of this series for excitement, fear, rage, sadness and hope as our characters struggle to make a life for themselves in a very hostile new world where everyone wants to kill you.Product details

I've been with this since the beginning and cant wait for the next one. Great as always Jackson creed is awesome.
Great read. Enjoyed the humour between the main characters. The wait was worth it. Women are zombie killers too. Just can't wait for the next book.
So how long do I have to wait for Book 6???? I have blown thru this series and it's great! Wicked sense of humor and lost S of action. Please write faster!!!!!!!
I love the Z Risen series, but this one was a little weak and mistake prone. However, the author's health situation was explained, so this is excusable. Especially because every other book in the series is 5 star awesome.
I like the characters and have been reading from the beginning. The author wrote about recovering from an illness. The book could have used a proofread cause sometimes in action sequences it was confusing if he really meant a certain character was doing something. But I chalk that up to the illness and look forward to the next installment.
Barriers is the latest book in the Z-Risen series which follows the adventures of Navy Puke Machinist's Mate First Class Jackson Creed and his Marine buddy Joel Kelly in post-zombie apocalypse America. Although this is the fifth book in the series, the writing is fresh, the story-line engaging, and the characters sympathetic and complex. The story builds well from the previous books and I am eagerly awaiting the final installment in the series.
This has it all, action, zombies, and sarcasm in very large doses. After reading book 5 I breathlessly await book 6, just keep them coming!
